Skye has had extensive training in dance and theater since the age of five. She discovered hip hop dance at the age of twelve. At fifteen she traveled New England and New York training with various teachers in the art of house, tribal, jungle, locking, popping and breakdance. When she came back to Cape Cod, she began studying tap and traditional middle eastern dance. She began her professional career at age seventeen dancing for bar-mitzvahs in Boston and giving private dance lessons. In Burlington, VT, she studied African dance and Brazilian Capoeira.

Skye studied Yoga at Kripalu. She returned to the Cape for the summer to perform Hip Hop dancing in Provincetown. In the fall, she began teaching Hip Hop Dance & Theory at the Bangs Community Center and The Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School in Western Mass. For the last eight years, she has continued her study of Middle Eastern, Turkish, Rajasthan and Odissi Indian Temple dancing.

Her classes include Belly Dance and Body Awareness, as well as Hip Hop Dance and Theory classes for children. She enjoys teaching the roots of Hip Hop, helping students explore how elements of Salsa, African and Middle Eastern dance have influenced today's movement and rhythm.
